| QA1. What benefits do you offer that I do not get at a regular store? |
|
The
bulk of business at retail stores comes off-the-rack. They have money
invested in inventory, which has to be recovered from sales. Priyanka's,
on the other hand, specializes in customized clothing. Our garments are
custom-made to size, style, and fabric specifications. |

Why does your site
merchandise only women's wear and not men's,
children's wear ? |

We
are now in the process of launching our new range of garments on the web.
This range will include men’s wear, children's wear, Nehru kurtas,
sherwanis, traditional Jodhpuri shoes, safas, leather wear, artificial
jewelry, and more. We expect this site to be up and running very soon. |

All Priyanka's outfits -- especially bridal outfits -- are custom-tailored. We do not sell dresses that are off the shelf. However, we do have certain designs that we can run up very quickly. If you give us your (a) Budget, (b) Fabric choice, (c) Color preferences, (d) Style briefing, and (e) whether you want medium work or heavy work, we will do our best to run up the outfit within three or four days. In 90 per cent of cases, we will be able to make the delivery in the specified time frame. What you will get is Priyanka's choice. Which is affordable, and almost all of our clients strongly believe in Priyanka's choice. |

Will the colors shown on the
website remain true? |

Colors as shown on the web catalogue may vary from the paper photographs we have. If you are very particular about the color, we would advise you to mention this clearly in the special instructions column while ordering. |
| QB4. Can you duplicate the fit of a favorite outfit presently in my wardrobe? |
|
Yes. Just send your outfit to us with your order or send us your measurements in detail. We'll even incorporate any changes you want. We'll return your outfit along with your new Priyanka's outfit. |

I am a great fan of Bollywood and I
just loooove the outfits worn on
screen by actresses like Kajol in 'Kuch Kuch Hota Hai', Rani in 'Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam' and others. If I specify an outfit from a film, can you make one for me exactly like it? |

Good
question! Frankly, one out of every five outfits you see in these
blockbuster films is designed and made by Priyanka's. At the same time, we
must tell you that most of these outfits do not look as good in reality as
they do on screen. There are two types of outfits being made for movies: B:
Some producers / directors order perfect outfits that can be used again
after a shooting. The outfit can become a gift for the star or for a
relative. These outfits are made perfect in every sense -- fabric, design,
handiwork, etc. So when you refer to such an outfit, you must try to provide us scanned photographs (in most cases, we insist on that, in order to avoid any possible confusion), and you must specify the fabric (if we use the same fabric as you see on on screen, you may not be able to use the dress more than once!). You can also ask us to recommend the best combination, fabric, etc. Photographs of the creation from as many angles as possible will ensure Priyanka's guarantee of a perfect copy of the dress of your choice. |

I love the outfits in your
catalogs. But I need small changes made -- like long sleeves instead of short, longer blouse to cover my midriff, etc. What is your policy on this? |

No problem! Just specify what you need done in the order form. In most cases, there is no extra charge. |
| QB7. How frequently are new designs added? |
|
We introduce new designs and fabrics every month. If you have a specific request, please let us know and we will try to find it for you. | QB8. Can I give you the measurements by email? |

Yes, you can. But we recommend that you download this order.zip file. You will get all the required details in it. You can fill it off-line and when you are through you can simply connect and submit it. |
| QB9. Do I have to get measured each time I pick something out? |
|
Yes, because over time your measurements may change. Also, if you select another type of design we may need additional information. |
| QB10. How can I ensure that the fit of the clothes I order is perfect? |
|
The trained eye of our master tailors is required to make sure that your outfit fits well. We recommend you open a dialogue with our trained staff. You can contact our tailors by phone or email to determine what features are the most important in your wardrobe, and they will make recommendations accordingly. If you have ordered from us before, our tailors will re-check your measurements and make sure of a perfect fit. Remember, Priyanka's believes in a policy of 100 per cent satisfaction. |
| QB11. Can I request different colors, handiwork, style? |
|
You
have over 4500 styles from which to select your outfit. And we are
constantly adding new designs. So it is unlikely that you will need
anything different. Besides, our prices are maintained at their low levels
simply because of this fact. Yes, we do allow special requests in some
cases, but this requires a continuous email exchange to incorporate
changes. And if we need to incur an extra cost, it will have to be borne
by the buyer. |
| QB12. Do I have to worry about shrinkage? |
|
All our fabrics are pre-shrunk. Although there is always a residual shrinkage of 2 to 3 per cent, we allow for this shrinkage when we craft your outfit. |
| QB13. I am not happy with the outfit you sent me. What is your policy on returns? |
|
Free replacement. |
| QB14. What if the dress I have chosen needs to be replaced for any reason? |
|
Priyanka's
strives for 100 per cent perfection. So we do not foresee such a situation
arising. In the event that it does, we are open to exchange. |
| QC1. Can I buy from Priyanka's on a Cash Against Delivery basis? |
|
We'd love to do that! But we don't know any mechanism that will protect the interests of both parties. |
| QC2.
If I need an Extra Large outfit
that requires more fabric and work, do I pay more? |
|
There is no extra charge if the size is close to Large or, in some cases, even Extra Large. But if it is extremely large, yes, we need to charge extra. That will depend on your exact size and the item number. |
| QC3. Could prices of garments change once the order is confirmed? |
|
Neither
garment prices nor shipping charges will be changed once the order is
confirmed and paid. |
| QC4. How much time does it take to ship the ordered garments? |
|
Normal delivery period is 15 days. If your selection involves intricate handiwork, it could take another week. All our deliveries are made through First Class Express Mail and it takes a maximum of 3 to 4 working days. It all depends on which region you are in. |
| QC5. Do you accept payment in Indian rupees? |
|
Yes, we accept rupee payment. The dollar conversion rate ruling on the day of placing your order is used to determine the Rupee price. |
| QC6. Which credit cards do you accept? |
|
We
offer two methods of credit card payment: A:
Online through CCNow
Inc, which accepts all major credit cards like Visa, MasterCard, American
Express, Discovery, etc. In this method, your
credit card details are never disclosed to us. B: ( Recommended )If you own an American Express card, you can download voucher copy here, print it, sign it and fax us on 91-22-8215249 and 91-22-6234528, and we will do the needful. Your credit card details will never be disclosed to anyone. We offer an additional 4 per cent discount on total purchases if you select this option. using this payment we offer special 4% additional discount on total purchases value. |

CCNow Inc is an American company that provides e-commerce solutions. We have tied up with CCNow to accept credit card payments. As such, your credit card details are never revealed to us. |

day. Can I come and buy the outfits personally? |

How do you think we keep our prices so low!? We have no showrooms and no inventories! What we do have are factories and master cutters. We make outfits to order -- either for individuals customers or for boutiques across India. What you can do is place your order in advance and we can send deliver it to you when you are in Bombay. |
